MRS. LANDERS IS DEAD AT 89 - Lifelong Resident of Iowa; Was Born at Fairfield
Mrs. Mary Lyon Landers 89, of 2213 Thirteenth st., died Sunday at Iowa Lutheran hospital. She had lived all her life in Iowa.
Mrs. Landers was born at Fairfield, Ia., coming to DesMoines in 1912.
Survivors are a son, William Sherman Landers, of DesMoines with whom she had been living; a sister, Mrs. Hulda Ray, Minnesota; a brother, Lerome Lyon, and two grand-daughters and two great grandchildren, all of DesMoines.
Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral home. The Rev. E.A. Elliott will be in charge, assisted by the Rev. ?.C. Fellers. Burial will be at Winterset, Ia. |
