  The Lyon headstones in Union Chapel South Cemetery were transcribed by Berniece Louis Lyon Cook in the early 1970's. She writes, "We found all of these headstones in Union Chapel Cemetery plus "Infant son of Elizabeth Nelson" & "Infant of Clarmon Lyon Smith" that died 3 days before its mother. And some other stones we could not read without perhaps using tracing paper & charcoal."
