Thomas Overton Rights Thursday - Services for Thomas Benton Overton, 85, of 2533 E. Walnut St., will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at White's East Grand avenue funeral home. Burial will be in Carlisle Cemetery.
Mr. Overton, who died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Broadlawns General Hospital, was born in Carlisle and had lived the last 27 years in Des Moines.
Surviving are two sons, Ivyl and Archie, both of Des Moines; a brother, Eli of Indianola; a sister, Mrs. Jane Shaklee of Oakland, Minn.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. |
